About Maze Mania: Ready for a real challenge? Maze Mania is the game to play.
- The object of this game is to find a specific patterned pathway from one starting square of the board to another ending square. In order to find your way through this maze, you can move only one square at a time and a green light will light up if you choose a correct square or a red light will light up indicating an incorrect move. The challenge is that, every time you hit an incorrect square and the red light appears, you must start over from the first square and remember the correct path you traveled. The better you remember, the faster you can travel across the board and decode this maze. Also, there is a counter for this game and keeps track of the number of moves you make. This small, programmable device has preset paths from a starting point of the board to a specified end. Or you can make your one maze and test a friend's path-finding skills.
- Age Group: 10yrs+ The age group is older for Maze Mania due to the more complicated format of the game and rules. In requires more logical and analytical skills to be able to solve the puzzle of the maze. Also, this toy helps to build stronger memory skills just as solving a complex jigsaw puzzle does.
- The principle of Maze Mania involves a mathematical process of elimination. It is a game of strategy and quick thinking to not only find the correct path, but to find it with the fewest moves.
- Due to the more intricate circuitry needed to make this game function, the construction cost is higher than most simple children toys. Nevertheless, the useful problem solving skills being learned from Maze Mania are worth the cost. The durability and safety are both of little concern due to the older age group and physical nature of this toy. It must be handled with care to ensure that it functions properly and avoids any cause for harm.
