The Toy Crane will give children the chance to learn about lifting, tension, and rotation all while manipulating objects within a construction site. Some of the toy's features include a moveable base, a rotating working arm, and a sliding trolley which lifts the load. Various construction materials like beams and crates will attach to a plastic hook suspended below the trolley by a thin cable. A system including a motor, gears, and pulleys will be responsible for the toy's light lifting controllable by buttons and switches at the crane's base. Children will have a great time lifting and transporting equipment to different heights and areas.
The Toy Crane's main structural components will be made of plastic while the internal motor and gears can be made of metal. Appropriate counter-weights will be designed into the rear of the working arm to safely lift any of the attachments that come with the toy. All parts will be smooth and rounded to minimize any safety risks. The toy's cost may run a bit high as the electronics and internal lifting mechanisms should be precise and designed with care.
