Design Principle Rubber Band Car is based on the principle of rubber band's elasticity and cumulation of energy. A child will interact with the toy by moving the wheel backward, thus winding up the rubber band and pressing a button placed on top of the toy to release the rubber band. When rubber band is released, the wheels rolls forward and pushes the car forward.
About Production Construction cost of Rubber Band Car will be very low since it does not involve any electrical mechanism. The toy will have medium durability because of some complex design and usage of numerous springs. Also, durability of the rubber band should be very strong. The age group for the toy is expected to be 7 yrs and older because of its potentially fast movement.
