Making Presentations
What I leant: There are many presentation in this class and for the most part they are very short and informal. This does however create difficulties. For these presentations having a written speech planned isn't practical but not having one can allow important information to be forgotten. For 39-606 several presentations are required, but these are longer and more formal. Therefor having a written outline, or powerpoint presentation is acceptable. Having the presentation's structure available prevents me from accidentally omitting important information. The important thing to do for the Rapid Proto is to memorize all the points that need to be mentioned. Then fill in between the points with conversational talk, but to remain collected enough to include each point. This comes from practice and confidence both of which have increased throughout the semester.
