How does the design information transmit to the manufacturing process?
If the part is already done in IronCAD, the file must be exported as IGES to ProEngineer. In the manufacturing mode of ProEngineer, the file is then converted into a NC file (specifically in G and M codes).
This NC file will then be corrected by Mike Vadeweghe and sent to the milling machine connected to the network. After setting zeros, clamping the stock material down, and putting on the appropriate tools, the file will be executed and the part made.
