- Wafers are $2 each and only a few are required for small
parts
- cost for material to produce parts is between $10-50.
- A fused deposition machine itself is quite expensive: $50-500k.
Time
- Machine moves at a fixed speed, so time required depends
on size of part.
- Parts are created in times ranging from a few minutes to
a few hours.
