| Project 1 : Concept 3 : PATH FINDING | |
== FIGURE ==================== |
== AGE GROUP ================ Ages 3 and up |
== HOW TO PLAY =============== Children have to find a path for each piece (a Triangle, a Square, and a Circle) in order to store the piece into the case in it's same shape at the end of the path. |
== PHYSICAL PRINCIPLE ======== The Principle underlying the toy is to teach the children about how the groove works. Since the shapes, with the pins behind are stuck in the groove, the children won't be able to pull them out of the path until they reach the end of the path, where is also the end of the groove. Also, it teaches children to recognize the differences in shapes, because they won't be able to fit a shape in the cases whose shapes are different. |
== TOY'S CONCEPT ============= Challenge Children's planning and problem-solving skills. Also enable children to recognize differences of shapes. |
== CONSTRUCTION COST, DURABILITY, SAFETY == This toy is made out of rubber-wood that is widely accepted throughout the world as an environmental-friendly material. Rubber-wood is a very durable and safe material, besides, it also can be reused or recycled. |
