Description of Pachelbel's Canon in a Can

• Children will rotate the handle causing the drub to brush against an overhanging rectangular piece, causing different notes of Pachelbel's famous 'Canon' to be produced.
• The PCC allows children to explore their curiosity of how music is produced
• The inspiration behind the toy were children that were beginning to discover and enjoy music and see one of the ways that it can be created.
• The cost is estimated to be ~$10 and since it is designed to be built by recycling a soda can, the durability and safety aspects will be of an acceptable level, given the target age group. There might be concerns of a child cutting themselves if the toy is abused, however it is around the same risk as drinking from a soda can.
