Advantages:

• Compared to other RP Processes, per-part material cost is cheap
• Largest Build area (mold volume LOM 2030)

Disadvantages:

• Can't make certain geometry objects such as a hollow sphere
• Slower for small objects relative to the machine build area
• Material recyclability (cutoff material cannot be re-used and accounts for a lot of waste material)
