A fun, easy to use toy designed for children ages 5+. Small parts and fast moving "flippers" make this toy better suited for children in grade school.
Based on basic physics concepts of energy transfer and the laws of motion. Potential energy is stored through winding the toy up. When released, this energy is turned into kinetic energy as it powers the wheels and "flippers".

Cost for construction comes to about $5 for plastic and a somewhat complicated gearbox. Additional costs for the plastic molds come to $50 (only needed once)
This toy needs to be durable in order to perform its intended operation, flip out of control. A solid plastic frame and soft rubber coated wheels make-up the outer shell. A metal gearbox and spring ensure long toy life as long as the toy is not over wound too often.
