Magnetic Cars
· Magnetic Cars are miniature cars (with the same shape
and size as Micro Machines) that have magnets inside them, with the n-pole
in the auto's front and the s-pole in the rear.
· Children will learn about magnetism as they play with these
cars separately and then try to combine them, forming "caravans" of
mini-cars. Having the n-pole of the magnet always in the front of the car
and the s-pole always in back will help children make the association in their minds that magnets are bi-polar and have a different charge on each side of its field.
· These cars should not cost much more than most die-cast
cars. It should not be costly to integrate a small but strong magnet
inside them. It should probably be used by children ages 5 and over since
the cars are small enough to choke a younger child. Estimated Retail
Price: $4.99 for a set of 3 magentic cars
