The PSRA A/B League

Dear Fellow Squash Players,

I have taken over as the A/B league commissioner from Ron Roteman for this winter season. The rules below are the same as for last season. Nonetheless, please read them carefully. Most important:

ALL LEAGUE PLAYERS MUST BE CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE PSRA
ALL MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED ON THEIR SCHEDULED DAY

I would like to run the league by e-mail as much as possible. If you have an e-mail address you read regularly, please drop me a note at fp@cs. Not all rosters are complete at this point: please send me updates and corrections as soon as possible.

League Rules

All players must be members in good standing with the PSRA. Dues for one year (starting at the time it is paid) are $55 must be paid before the 3rd week of the season. Please make checks payable to PSRA and send to

After 12/07, matches of unpaid players will be forfeit.
All matches must be played at their scheduled times (Monday evening, typically starting at 6pm). There will be no make-up matches.
The official softball to be used is the Dunlop XX yellow dot.
Players are eligible for the playoffs only if they have played at least 3 regularly scheduled matches.
Each team match consists of 3 individual matches, ranked 1 through 3.
Each individual match is best-of five games.
Games are to 9 points.
The USSRA International Rules of Squash govern league play.
Each team captain is responsible for reporting the team's weekly scores. The report consists of the names of the players and games won and lost.
Roster can be updated until the 3rd week of the season.
