I am a PhD student at The Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, where I am advised by Michael Kaess. I am interested in problems relating to 3D mapping and localization. I completed my Master’s in Robotics at CMU where I was advised by David Wettergreen . As part of my Master's research, I worked on 3D vision algorithms and model-based optimization methods for estimating plant physical traits from multi-view 2D images.

I completed my Bachelor's in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from IIT Guwahati, India. Before starting my Master's, I also spent a year working as a research assistant with Debasish Ghose at the Indian Institute of Science on indoor vision-based localization and control for a multi-robot system.
