iSite Enterprise Control Strip

Short Demo

The Control Strip is the fixed point of your iSite Enterprise session. It will launch automatically after you have logged in to the iSite Enterprise Server.

The Control Strip contains the Help and Preferences Buttons(10), the Logout Button(9) and Patients Query Page Tab(2), as seen in the image below. This area of the iSite Enterprise Window will remain constant throughout your work with iSite Enterprise. After selecting patient exams, you will see Patient-Name Tabs (discussed below) in the lower-right corner of the iSite Enterprise Control Strip. These tabs will be your gateway to viewing patient exams.

The initial window you will see after logging into iSite Enterprise will be the Patient Directory. The Patient Directory consists of the Patient List, which shows the patients and exams that are available for viewing, and the Sort and Search Fields for organizing the Patient List. The Sort and Search features are particularly useful when there are numerous patients in your Patient List .

Patient Directory

The Patient Directory is the first screen to be displayed when you log in to iSite. The Directory allows you to quickly locate specific patients and their exams by searching for specific criteria such as patient name, patient ID, exam date, patient location etc. The resulting list can be sorted by the various column headers.

Searching the Patient List

Short Demo

The Patient List can be searched using by entering information into the search fields and clicking the "Query" button, as seen below. iSite Enterprise will return up to 200 names that match your criteria, sorted in chronological order. If more than 200 names match your criteria, iSite Enterprise will return the first 200 listings and will display a message indicating that additional patients which match your criteria are present. To access these additional patients, you should narrow your search criteria as much as possible.

The Patient List can be searched using one or more of the following criteria:

·   By Patient Name:  Enter part or all of a patient's last name, then click the “Query” button. Patients whose names match your criteria will be displayed in the Patient List.

·   By Patient ID:  Enter all or part of a patient ID number, then click the “Query” button. Patients whose Patient ID match your criteria will be displayed in the Patient List.

·   By Exam Date:  Enter the date you wish to search for, then click the “Query” button. Patients whose exam dates match your criteria will be displayed in the Patient List. The Patient List can also be searched using one of the four preset dates shown below. The default setting for this field is "All."

EXAMPLE:

You wish to find a patient who was examined on November 1st, 2000, but you don't remember the patient’s entire name. Simply type “11/01/2000” in the Exam Date field, then click the “Query” button. iSite Enterprise will display all the patients who were examined on November 1st, 2000. If you remember part of a patient’s name, you may type that in as well. For example, running a search with the date "11/01/2000" and the name “Mora” in the Patient Name field will produce a list of patients whose last name begins with "Mora" and who were examined on November 1st, 2000.
