Applying to B.S. in Music and Technology program
Students must be accepted to the School of Music and either the School of Computer Science or the Carnegie Institute of Technology. Applicants are required to submit the University's Common Application and all necessary related materials to the Carnegie Mellon Undergraduate Admission Office. Visit the How to Apply page on the School of Music website to find more information about the steps and requirements of the admission process. Current students at CMU may apply for internal transfer into the Music and Technology program. Deadlines for transfer are October 1st for the following spring semester, and March 1st for the following fall semester.
