Previous: 5.3 Building
Your project files are to be placed in
/afs/cs/academic/class/15441-s03-users/<userid> (where
<userid> is your Andrew user ID) by the project deadline. These
folders will be locked after this time. Important note: because the
submission directories are hosted by the computer science department,
rather than computing services, you will need to run cklog
cs.cmu.edu to access the directories from Andrew machines.
In order to avoid issues due to clock synchronization, we will permit
a 1 hour grace period. That is, projects submitted up to 1 hour after
the deadline will be accepted as on time. Projects submitted
any later (such as 1 hour and 1 second), by our clock,
will be considered late. We urge you not to regard the grace period as
extra time to work on your project.
Late submissions will be handled according to the policy given on the
course web page. If you
need to submit your project late, you will need to email the TAs to
unlock your course folder.
You should place the following files in your submission folder:
- Makefile
- *.c, *.C, *.cc, *.CC, *.cpp, *.h, *.y, *.l, etc.
- Documentation of test cases run and explanation of each (tests.txt)
- (optional) Documentation on any extra credit items you have worked
one (extra.txt, see Section 9).
