16-811: Math Fundamentals for Robotics, Fall 2019
Note: For Assignment 6 there
will be no resubmission opportunity. You will know
yourself whether your code is correct.
Assignments are due by the start of lecture.
(The Autolab cutoff is 3pm on the due date.)
Please hand in assignments electronically.
(For resubmissions, you only need to hand in the parts that need improvement.)
You may write code in either MATLAB or PYTHON.
If you presented your project on December 3 or 5, your project writeup
is due in Autolab (as a pdf file, not a tar), on Friday December 13, by 5pm.
The writeup should be 5 pages long (commensurately longer for group
projects -- use your judgment as to a good length).
Please submit a single pdf file per group (only one group member
needs to submit the report).
The following instructions are for everyone who is presenting
projects in the final exam period on December 13 (5:30-8:30pm, in Posner 151):
Slides for project presentations are due on Thursday December 12, by 3pm.|
Please submit a single pdf file per group to
Autolab (as a pdf
file, not a tar). Only one group member needs to submit per group.
The file should start with a special "spacer slide" described in the formatting instructions below, then be followed by your presentation.
Your presentation should contain exactly 1 page per group member.
Use the pdf wisely, to help you convey information during your presentation.
(Also, please keep your pdf simple -- no animations or videos or external links -- and please keep the file size small. Thanks.)
| If you are presenting your project on December 13, then your
project writeup is due in Autolab (as a
pdf file, not a tar), on Saturday December 14, by 5pm.|
The writeup should be 5 pages long (commensurately longer for group projects -- use your judgment as to a good length).
Please submit a single pdf file per group (only one group member needs to submit the report).
Additional Formatting Instructions for the Slides:
In order to create the "spacer slide" mentioned above, please edit the Powerpoint file linked here as follows:
Convert the Powerpoint to PDF and then put it before your actual presentation. Submit everything together as a single pdf file to Autolab (one submission per group).
- Replace "AndrewID" with your Andrew ID (for a group, please include each member's Andrew ID).
Replace "00" with your presentation number (available on Autolab as the "score" for the assessment called "Presentation Order").
That number determines your presentation order.
(If your number is less than 100, then you are scheduled to present on December 3 or 5;
if your number is greater than 100, then you are scheduled to present
on December 13 during the final exam period (5:30-8:30pm, in Posner 151).)
Have a good winter break!
