RE: Dell's Support of USB Ports

Title: Message

Windows is unable to identify, detected USB devices like microphones, mice, or keyboards.  All of these devices are detected and work another computer.  To take the Windows out of the picture, I booted the server with a USB keyboard and it would not post the BIOS or enter setup.

On two different occasions I have contacted Dell regarding problems with the USB ports on a PE4600 server.  Each of the Dell representatives I spoke with stated that Dell does not support the USB ports on this server and that they are there for future use.  Has anyone else encountered this?
