We are attempting to get some ADA information for our Touch Screen
demonstration/evaluation in Santa Clara TOMORROW (this just came up guys,
sorry).  Is anyone aware of any web site touch screen ADA/Blind voter
information or instructions that we could use?  We need this information
ASAP, so are looking for any handouts, video, or reference ADA material that
was put together for Georgia, or Maryland, or anywhere.

Please call me at 415-893-9941 if you've got any leads for me on any
material.

Thanks,
Steve Knecht

Any way we could get the disabled info from any of our counties' web sites
on CD?  I'm thinking of Alameda and maybe MD or GA?

Hello Deborah:
I am sending an email to all vendors requesting any information for our
Outreach events specific to person's with disabilities.  At the Silicon
Valley Council of the Blind, many members expressed an interest in accessing
information  in Large print, audio (cassette, video, CD), diskette where
they could learn more about the specific voting devices. Many wanted to be
able to take this information home with them to review.  By chance, do you
have any of this information available that we could take for our scheduled
events?  I realize that we are scheduled to meet this Thursday, 2/6/03 at
2:00pm; however, I wanted to be certain to send you this same request.

At the Lions Silicon Valley Center for the Blind & Sight Impaired, we had 66
members present and it would have been helpful to be able to setup
additional devices so I appreciate your assistance in providing us with two
DRE devices to use during our expanded outreach program.

I can either be reached through email or contacted by phone at
(408)282-3024.

Thank you for your assistance, Ruth
