Re: what does using rotation button do on test count in BS4-0-6



It does not reduce the number of ballots in the deck.  The reason one would do an L&A test using rotation would be to confirm the rotations are correct.  The reason for not using rotation would be to print an SOVC or Summary report and have to totals increasing by candidate.

If a L&A test is performed not using rotation then the votes are assigned using the 'base rotation' for the candidates rather than the ballot rotation.

what does using rotation button do on test count in BS4-0-6?  Since ballots are downloaded in the correct rotation - does this rotate them again?
