Yesterday while testing and during the SHUTDOWN operation, I
noticed that the "It is now OK to turn off your computer" small window displays
on the R5 about 2 to 3 seconds before the Imation drive is finished writing to
the disk.
Question: Ken, is it likely that this is what causes the
intermittant .adt errors at customer sites. They stand there waiting with
their finger on the power switch, and as soon as that message comes up, they
turn the power switch off, but the Imation is still writing to the disk.
Or at least the Imation is still doing something!
