Re: City of Alameda Files from Diskette/ADT from Hard Drive / NO DLD

Just thinking about Alameda's problems this AM.  When does the shutdown process actually write to the diskette/disk .adt file?  Does it start when you type 1111/OK? Or does the process only start when you pull the Mgr. Card?  If its the latter, since RegEdit has the Shutdown set to "0", I think its possible that Windows could be shutting down the Ballot Station process before the diskette has completed writing whatever is being written to the diskette. If the diskette is primary, and is written first, prior to hard drive, this would / could explain that neither drive is getting a closure log on the .adt. and explain what we're seeing.  Possible?

Here are the files from the hosed ballot station.

I'm heading to Alameda County to email the DLD 8.2Mb file.  You can call me at 510-272-6933, then press 0 to get operator.  I'll let her know where I am.
