RE: Imation Super Disk assigned as IDE drive by PNP bios

Could we change the DefDir registry to be the D: drive???  Or is it embedded in the code to write to the A: drive???

Well then, guess what, we'll have to recant on this e-mail:)  It work 9 out of 10 times.  Then fails miserably.

The Imation disk drive is being assigned as the last IDE drive in the chain, by NT4.0, when the removable media is installed.

Solution: Change bios settings
1)   Catagory     "Standard CMOS Setup"      Setting   "Drive D = NONE"
2)   Catagory     "BIOS Features Setup"        Setting    "Swap Floppy Drive = ENABLED"
