RE: Background color drawing problem

Hmm.  I was waiting for someone to say that.
  • Dmitry, please check that the InstallShield is installing the same riched20.dll as in the util directory on the ftp site.  Get in sync with Mike when he comes back if it is not.
  • Greg, what service pack are you running?  Did you install the service pack after or before GEMS?
  • Uspecified support person, what is the version and file size of riched20.dll after NT4SP6a is installed but before the GEMS CD is installed?

New installation with GEMS-1-16-9.  Required Riched20.dll after setup.

Support list Steve.  Put it in the WinNT\system32 directory.  There should already be a riched20.dll there.  You might want to rename it before you copy the new one as a backup.

Closure on this.  The 5.30.22.2300 riched20.dll fixed Dianne's problem.

I can't reproduce the problem either.

There is a copy in the util directory on the ftp site.

Posted on behalf on Cathi, who I assume is having email problems.

The background color is being drawn only partially with the attached database and postscript from Anoka.  I can't reproduce it on my machine.  Is anyone else seeing this?

It might be a RTF control issue.  Tab, this looks like it could be an rtf control thing.  Could you put in the GEMSFix directory a copy of the "trusted" DLL?
