Hello Jeff,
Drop out all protocols except for TCP/IP, on both The Server and the
Accutouch.
You will still loose connection to your in house Network since it is set up
as a Netbeui Network.
Don't worry about this, all we are testing is weather you can talk with the
Accutouch. If you can't talk with the Accutouch then you never had a
proper TCP/IP Connection in the first place.
Mike

Tab,

I installed the new Ballot Station software but still did not get the
option to transfer to disk. Is there an entry in the registry that I need
to change or set??

I also installed the new Poll Book software and I am now able to get the
transfer option. However, I still get the message Couldn't find Host.
I am able to communicate using both the Ping command through MS Dos and
accessing Network Neighborhood through explorer to both machines, but I am
still unable to transfer data using the Accu-Touch software and Gems.
My current settings are as follows: Accu-Touch box is set up with TCP/IP,
ID is Global and Workgroup is Dilbert, IP address is 192.168.3.41 and
submask is 255.255.255.0, not using any Primary Wins numbers. The Server
is set up with TCP/IP, NetBEUI, and NWLink IPX/SPX / Netbios, ID is Gems
and Workgroup is Dilbert, IP address is 192.168.3.1 and submask is
255.255.255.0, and Primary Wins server address is 192.168.3.1.
Have you been able to successfully transfer from and Accu-Touch to a NT
Server? If so, what are your settings?
