Re: Alameda voice

For now, I'd like you to do the voice for both the Piedmont and Oakland elections.  I'll forward the English now to you.  One thing that is clear is the need to reverse the Candidate name and "press 1 to vote for".  Voters using VIBS in November got confused when the text said "Vote for one", followed by "Press 1" to vote for Cand A.  They inevitably listened to the Candidate Name and then Pressed 2 instead of one.  Also the cadence of the person doing the recording added to the confustion.

RCR Request:  Reverse order in VIBS dialogue so that the "Press N" comes after the the candidate name "To vote for Al Gore".   Text string should be in this order "Vote for One" "To vote for" "Al Gore" "press 1" "To vote for" "George Bush" "press 2", etc.

Do you want us to do voice in the same way as before here or are you going to take care of it elsewhere?  I believe Dominique (who did Alameda and LA) is available.

Yes.  Both for the March 6 Piedmont and April 16 Oakland elections.

Tari, by any chance, do you need voice for Alameda?
