RE: GEMS 1-17-15 rich text missing on download

There is no RTF text in the Spanish Write-In candidates for City Councilor.  The field is not being initialized correctly, and its caught by the RTF converter in download.  Fix in 1.17.17.  In the mean time, edit the write-in field manually and you should be good.

Does it work with 1.17.16?

A database is defined with Default and Spanish languages as well as audio.  Text is defined for all candidates other than Spanish write-in candidates.  Attempting to download an AccuVote-TS vote center displays the message:

Database 'gems 1-17-15 missing rtf test' is backed up to /maryann/d:/program files/gems/backup.
