I selected the sound format and attributes before recording in GEMS, which caused the sound to be reset to mpeg format upon saving.  It is necessary to record in GEMS first, then set the format in order for the format to be correctly saved.  Furthermore, activating the audio track, then clicking on Save without effecting any changes will automatically reset the format to mpeg.

The audio for the first race is not in PCM format.  This has been explained at length.

An audio ballot is voted in Count Test.  Pressing 6 following the welcome message in order to initiate ballot listing does not automatically play back the first race.  Database is attached.
