Crap. Yeah, I
see what is going on here. You actually mean of course "removing report
precincts from vote centers" not "deleting vote centers".
This is (sort
of) by design. You have to have at least one vote center to count
every report precinct in a counter group. From a practical
standpoint, that means you really have to follow the advice I just sent to the
support list w.r.t cumulative report precincts. Create one cumulative
counter group, and everything will be better.
I wonder if we
should perhaps enforce this advice in the user interface. I have to think
for a bit to convince myself that there is no use now (or in the future) for
multiple cumulative counter groups.
