RE: Central Count - Switching Vote Centers

I will also look into this one, although I am pretty sure this is fixed in recent GEMS.  1.3.x GEMS in general did not shut down central count cleanly.

Did they look for and/or kill GEMS with the task manager before restarting NT?  If the task manager did not show GEMS and yet they still couldn't open, and this behaviour is reproducable, please let me know.

Subject: Central Count - Switching Vote Centers

Reported by King County

In GEMS1-3-3 if you start central count for a vote center, count some decks, stop central count then restart with a different vote center and start to read some ballots the system crashes.  They had to shut down and restart Windows NT to be able to get back into the database.
