I am a Ph.D. student at Language Technologies Institute, School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, jointly advised by Prof. Chris Dyer and Prof. Taylor Berg-Kirkpatrick. I am interested in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning problems pertaining to multiple variables in structured settings with scarce resources for direct supervision.

Previously, I worked on distributional semantics with Prof. Eduard Hovy for my Masters' degree. I have also worked on statistical machine translation and quality estimation of machine-translated output during my time at Safaba Translation Solutions.
