The Pittsburgh International Airport is a USAirways hub, and is
serviced by many of the major airlines. Ground transportation includes
rental cars, taxis, shuttle buses, and public transportation. Some
hotels provide a shuttle bus from the airport. Inquire about shuttle
service when you make your hotel reservations.
If you don't have a favorite local travel agent, Carl and I both
highly recommend World Wise Travel (412-531-5555). The folks at World
Wise are nice and try their best to find flights that are not only
convenient, but inexpensive. They can also book hotels, rental cars,
trains, etc.
By Train or Bus
There is an Amtrak
station downtown. Across the street from the Amtrak station is the Greyhound station.
