Julie Booth is a postdoctoral fellow in the Human Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research focuses on the development of mathematical understanding; specifically on how prior knowledge affects learning in math and how instruction can be designed to facilitate learning. Her work is currently funded by a grant through the Pittsburgh Science of Learning Center.
