  1. Open Self Service from the Applications menu in Finder
  2. Click All Printers in the right pane to browse all available SCS printers
  3. Click Install under the name of the printer you wish to install (Public)

You must provide your SCS Windows (Active Directory) domain username and password when prompted while printing.

    2. Click on "Print & Fax" or "Printers & Scanners"
    3. Click on the Plus (+) icon in the lower left hand corner of the system preferences pane.
    4. If you do not see an Advanced option in the Add Printer pane that appears, add it by doing the following:
      1. Secondary click (or control + primary click) in the top of the pane (in the area where Fax, IP, Windows, Default and a search bar may appear).
      2. Click on Customize Toolbar.
      3. Drag the Advanced item (displayed as a gear) into a space in the top of the toolbar.
      4. Click on "Done" after the "Advanced" cog has been added to the Toolbar.

    8. In the Name field change the name to be the name of the printer. Although this field can be set to anything, keeping it the same as the actual printer will make identification easier.
    9. Choose the drop down menu next to "Use:" to select the printer driver. Select "Generic PostScript Printer"
    10. Click on Add then select which options are installed on the printer if known. After clicking on OK the printer will be added.

    12. In the authentication prompt that comes up select "Registered User" and enter your SCS Active Directory Account username and password (i.e. your SCS Windows account). You may optionally check "Remember this password in my keychain" so you don't have to type it every time you go to print to the printer.
Note: If your Mac is running Yosemite (OS X 10.10) you must enter "SCS\" before your username or authentication will fail. Do not use your Apple ID because it will not work for SCS printing authentication.
