Installing Outlook

Installing Outlook for Windows

If you are using a Facilitized computer, Outlook should already be available under the Start menu as part of Microsoft Office.

If Outlook is not available, a Microsoft Office installer is available in the PC_Dist repository on

To access this installer, you'll need to have a drive mapped to \\\PC_Dist. See Mapping network drives for more information on how to do this.

Next, use Windows Explorer to open the drive mapped to pc_dist. Browse to the PC_Dist\microsoft\office\ folder. Office 2016 is recommended, but Office 2010 is still available. Contact the Help Desk if you are unsure.

Run the *.exe file from the folder for the version you need. This will install the full Office suite in addition to Outlook. Please take note of the installation options presented by the installer and carefully select the option best matching your needs.

Next Step

You will now need to configure Outlook.
