Using laptops and cellphones is not allowed during lectures because they are distracting for everyone around you.
Tablets are encouraged for note-taking but not for anything other than taking notes.
The only exception are people with Disability Accommodations who need to take notes on a laptop. If you have such accommodations, please talk to me.
