Everything should be available as a link off of the class homepage:
Course Homepage .
There is a big RED section that tells you the links for class and recitation . Everyone has an individual Office Hours link (sorry, Zoom protocol). You will get the password in a separate email.
Hardcopies of the textbook are available in Mor and Weina's offices now! You can pick these up at any time, or wait until class meets in person. The books are free to you, courtesy of Citadel. However we ask that if you decide to drop the class you return the book, so others can use it.
For the first two weeks, chapters of the textbook are available via Box -- Textbook folder .
The Box files are not downloadable. They can be viewed online only.
Lecture meets 11:50 a.m. - 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. All classes and all recitations are remote for the first 2 weeks. After that, look at the in-person location on the website.
For the first 2 weeks, Zoom lectures will be recorded. Lectures and handouts will be uploaded to Canvas under the "Files" tab. You will need to print the handout BEFORE class, so that you can write on it. Follow the Canvas link from the Course Homepage. After the first two weeks, you need to come to class.
Homework problems are announced on the course website under the Homeworks Link .
For the first two weeks, solutions will be posted at 1pm every Friday at the Box -- HW Solutions folder .
Solutions are also available in the bins outside Mor's office (Gates 7207), in case you're on campus.
After the first 2 weeks, you will pick up solutions either in Recitation (if you have a recitation after 1 p.m.) or outside Mor's office.
Homeworks should be submitted through Gradescope. You can get to Gradescope either through the Course Homepage, or by clicking the "Gradescope" tab on the Canvas/Course website.
Homework is due every Friday at 1 pm. No extensions. No late minutes. Solutions go out immediately. We recommend uploading your homework early to avoid problems. Your 1 lowest homework grade is dropped.
Homeworks are difficult and long. It is important to find a small group of students with whom you can check your answers. To help you find such a group, please attend the Social Hours, which take place 8-9 p.m. on Tuesdays. You'll find them on the PnC Calendar off the website. A TA will be around at the start to help facilitate some discussion and help you to meet other students. Here is the ZOOM link for the social sessions.
