Frankel's chat with Eclipse

Eric was kind enough to send this along. Frankel hasn't told anyone about his description of the party, so consider that player knowledge only.

Frankel:

I guess I lied to you, Eclipse, since the Tiger I'm looking for is a bandit. It's only possible he's also a pit fighter.
Eclipse:
Tell me some background on this -- as a bard and historian, I am very interested in this.
Frankel:
I really don't know much about Tiger -- just a sneaky type who's been a bit of a thorn in my side for ages now. He's a relatively minor bandit leader.
Eclipse:
He visits Sunrise. He was also involved with the gang that gave us the helm.
Frankel:
He was? That makes the question of whether the one you know and the one I know are identical rather intriguing to me. (Then there's a 3rd.)
[Eclipse nods]

Eclipse:

So why do you adventure with these guys? What motivates a centaur to adventure with a party that gets into such danger?
Frankel:
Protecting the forest, their reputation, a few other things...I don't think there was much room for me in the tribe anymore. What does the name Rakni mean to you, Eclipse?
Eclipse:
It's got something to do with spiders, I think -- from arachnid?
Frankel:
So I gather. They say it as though it were a person.
Eclipse:
What are your long term goals?
Frankel:
The usual, Eclipse -- a home, a family, and some sort of peace with my surviving foes.
Eclipse:
Are those the goals of the other people you adventure with? I don't think so -- they sound much more fanatic.
Frankel:
Oh, they're quite varied -- one is the champion of good so far as a number of extraplanars are concerned, one is her mate, one is an elf about whom I know very little, actually you could say that about the elf/minotaur too, and the unicorn is a valued friend about whom, again, I know little. But I think only the champion is really in it mainly for her beliefs.
Eclipse:
Interesting...
Frankel:
About the mage and the bird I know even less and get along poorly. The mage mentioned someone once...
