I started writing these up between runs back in April 1996 as a public
service to the players (who were saved from reviewing the session
logs, unless they were feeling especially rogsome), myself (I've gotten a
few interesting ideas trying to tie things together in these pages),
and those few brave souls outside the campaign who like to check in on
things from time to time. I generally don't go back and revise them
(except for titles, anyway), so you can see all the times I've guessed
things wrong right here in white and blue (or whatever colors your
terminal emulator or browser gives you).
The writing here is admittedly rather uneven; this is partially from
an attempt to balance story flow and entertainment value with detail
for future reference ("how much did that acid cloud do again?") and
partly the result of too many years writing problem sets instead of
essays and stories.
