Ganeth normally appears in his adventuring garb, wearing a black tunic with a red sash over light armor fashioned from black dragon scales; a grey cloak (or a blue one, if adventuring underwater) is thrown over the lot. He visibly carries an assortment of weapons (including a longsword, a short bow, a staff, two spears, and an odd-looking black spiked buckler strapped to his right arm), several pouches, and a well-loaded equipment rack with various odds and ends. He also wears a black circlet (inset with a transparent white gem), a black bracelet, and a ring on each hand; on adventures, these rings are hidden by a pair of thin gloves. Among Westerners (if you can find enough to be "among"), Ganeth sometimes exchanges his tunic for a plain white tabard; he also has a dress tabard (bearing a starburst insignia of his own design) for formal occasions.
Ganeth's current body was a perfect cosmetic replica of the original until it aged 30 years in 18 seconds and lost all its scars. Like most elven bodies, it detects as part Prime Material and part Elemental Plant on plane source, but there's a trace of general upper planes in the reading as well.
