Pepper
Pepper started life as a quick little black horse in the stables near
the Silverton beach. As a runt, he was sold cheaply to a group of 1st
level elves who pooled most of their money to buy him as a pack
animal, since none of them could ride. Pepper rebelled at the notion
of carrying equipment and convinced Silvana to learn riding and use
him as her mount. Pepper's great passion was to run as fast as
possible, and his most wonderful experience as a young horse was
having an air walk spell cast upon him by a high level elven priest.
From that day onward, Pepper wanted to learn how to run in the air, an
ambition which he somewhat achieved by earning windfoot anklets from
djinn in the Cloudlands. Although Pepper became separated from
Silvana when she went off to fight the undead, many years later they
were reunited and when he died, Silvana asked the Forest to
reincarnate him as a unicorn. As a unicorn fighter, he progressed
rapidly from 3rd to 7th level. Currently he's in semi retirement
guarding the forests near the Hollerith keep, with his danger-sense
and sharp +2 horn.
