AMMAN, May 25 (AFP) - Jordan's King Abdullah II has postponed a meeting in the Vatican with Pope John Paul II originally scheduled for June 4, a top Jordanian official said Tuesday. No new date for the meeting has yet been fixed, the official said. King Abdullah, who returned from the United States Tuesday, is due to begin a tour on May 31 to Algiers, Tunis and Paris before returning to Amman on June 3 to meet Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz. Diplomats in Amman said the king, who has been jetting around a number of Arab and Western countries since becoming monarch in February, will also receive a visit from Sultan Qaboos of Oman on June 7.
