BRAZAVILLE, 25 May (AFP) - The World Food Programme has decided to send emergency aid for 200,000 inhabitants of Congo displaced by fighting, a statement by the body said Tuesday The distribution of this food aid, worth about five million dollars, can only take place when there is sufficient security in the centre of the country, which has been ravaged by fighting since December, the statement added. The regions to benefit from this aid are Pool, Niari, Bouenza, Lekouma and the areas of southern Brazaville.
