SPORTSTICKER NL PREVIEW MONTREAL (Ticker) -- The Montreal Expos aim for their fourth win in five games this afternoon when they battle the Milwaukee Brewers in the rubber match of a three-game series. Montreal has outscored its opponents, 32-22, over his last four games since enduring a seven-game losing streak. However, the Expos have won just seven of 24 home games this season. Vladimir Guerrero looks to continue his torrid pace for the Expos. He homered and drove home four runs in Saturday's 12-4 rout of the Brewers. In his last 10 games, Guerrero is 16-for-36 (.444) with five home runs and 14 RBI. Mike Thurman (0-3, 7.88 ERA) tries to break out of his season-long slump for Montreal. Thurman was tagged for four runs and five hits over five innings on Monday in a 4-3 loss to Philadelphia. The Expos are 0-5 in Thurman's starts this season. Thurman gave up four runs -- three earned -- and six hits over five innings in a 9-4 loss to Milwaukee on April 15, improving to 2-0 against the Brewers. Milwaukee counters with Cal Eldred (1-2, 5.02), who has not won since May 4. He surrendered two runs and nine hits over six innings on Tuesday but did not get a decision in a 4-2 win against the New York Mets. Eldred has giving up three runs or less in three of five starts this season. In two appearances against Montreal last season, Eldred allowed one earned run in seven innings but did not pick up a decision.
