Germany (AP) -- Jonas Bjorkman breezed to a straight-set victory over an impatient Greg Rusedski Thursday as Sweden swept Britain to reach its fifth final at the World Team Cup. Sweden won the Red Group match 3-0, wrapping it up early by taking both singles as Bjorkman rolled past Rusedski 6-2, 6-2, and Thomas Enqvist outlasted Tim Henmann 7-6 (7-4), 6-4. Bjorkman and Niklas Kulti then beat Rusedski and Henman 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 in a meaningless doubles at the $1.65 million event, which pits eight top tennis countries against each other. The Blue Group winner will be decided in a showdown of unbeatens Friday with Pat Rafter-led Australia facing the United States and its top player, Pete Sampras. ``I don't care who we play -- both countries have excellent individual players,'' said Enqvist. The hard-serving Rusedski, still trying to prove his power game functions on the slow clay, made numerous errors while gambling on winners. ``I went into the match with a lot of self-confidence since I had already beaten Rusedski five times,'' said Bjorkman, a former top player who has slipped to No. 37 in the world rankings. ``He didn't play badly, but I made it hard for him with my return of serve.'' Sweden, a three-time winner under Stefan Edberg, advanced to Saturday's final on the strength of its 2-1 record and a victory over Spain, which also finished 2-1. Spain finished second in the Red Group after beating Germany 2-1, with defending French Open champion Carlos Moya and Alex Corretja wrapping up the match with singles wins. Moya beat Tommy Haas 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 and Corretja struggled for two hours, 20 minutes before putting away Nicolas Kiefer, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 Boris Becker and David Prinosil gave Germany its point, beating Albert Costa and Jairo Velasco, 7-5, 6-4. Britain finished third in the Red Group with a 1-2 record, while 1-2 Germany was fourth after losing the head-to-head tie between the two teams. -=-=-
