CARROLLTON, Texas (AP) -- Dallas Cowboys cornerback Deion Sanders was married today to New York actress and model Pilar Biggers, according to a statement released by a publicity agent for his pastor. Sanders, 31, and Biggers, 25, were wed in a small private ceremony on Nassau's Paradise Island in the Bahamas, according to a release from Bishop T.D. Jakes. ``After my divorce, God sent someone into my life who has helped me to see that life really does go on,'' Sanders said. ``Deion and I are so thankful for this moment,'' she said. The bride, represented by the Ford Agency, has done editorial, catalog and runway modeling for designers Tommy Hilfiger, Guess and Richard Tyler, the release said. She also has appeared in ``Walker, Texas Ranger,'' ``Veronica's Closet,'' ``The Pretender'' and the 1999 movie ``The Mod Squad.'' The couple is expected to take an extended honeymoon before returning to Sanders' residence in the north Dallas suburb of Plano. Sanders' first wife, Carolyn Chambers Sanders, originally filed for divorce in September 1996, but asked to dismiss the suit about a week later. At the time, Carolyn Chambers Sanders said she and her husband had reconciled. She filed for divorce again in March 1997. Sanders underwent surgery last month on his left big toe and its affect on his football career was uncertain. Sanders injured the toe in the first quarter of the Cowboys' 35-28 victory over Arizona last Nov. 15. He played briefly in the next game against Seattle, and then was out until the Cowboys' playoff loss to Arizona on Jan. 2. Dallas went 2-3 during the five games he missed. Cowboys training camp begins July 26. -=-=-
