TAMPA, Fla., May 21 (UPI) -- A suspect in the slaying of 71-year-old Russell Davis of Tampa has been arrested in Metropolis, Ill. The arrest occurred when police pulled over a motorist on suspicion of drunken driving and discovered he was driving a stolen car. The car was identified as belonging to Davis and 37-year-old Terry Woolum was arrested. After detectives arrived from Tampa, they charged him with first-degree murder, robbery and auto theft. The body was discovered in a Tampa motel Tuesday morning by a maid. It wrapped in a bedspread and police say Davis had been severely beaten and stabbed.
