LONG BEACH, Calif., May 25 (UPI) -- A 3-year-old child has been found safe, one day after allegedly being abducted by his grandmother from the home they shared with the boy's mother. Authorities took Miles Davis and his 53-year-old grandmother, Paula Fusilier, off a Seattle-bound Greyhound bus late Monday when it stopped in Sacramento, police said. The boy's mother, Dnshea Harper, told KCBS television she suspected that her mother took the boy and that it wasn't the first time. Fusilier allegedly took the child to the Seattle area without permission once before. However, Harper said she believed her mother would not try to take the child again. Long Beach police plan to return the boy and his grandmother to Long Beach later today. It has not been determined why the woman took the child.
