The following is replaces earlier release from the WWF STAMFORD, Conn.--(BW SportsWire)--May 21, 1999-- WWF Signs Multi Year Deal to Sponsor 1999 and 2000 Indy Racing League (I.R.L.) and NASCAR Races Titan Sports, Inc., (The WWF), has signed a multiple year merchandising sponsorship agreement with Las Vegas based Zali Racing. The duel racing series deal includes sponsorship for the Team Coulson, Zali Racing driver Jim Guthrie and NASCAR drive Jeff Davis. Contracted drivers of Zali racing will participate in the 1999 Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400. Fans can tune-in to ABC Sports this weekend at 11:00am to see the WWF car #34 qualify for the 83rd running of the Indianapolis 500 mile race. The partnership between the WWF and Team Coulson, Zali Racing will benefit both sides by attracting fans to the raceway and ringside. The WWF and Team Coulson/Zali Racing plan to support the sponsorship with an extensive publicity campaign, including appearances by WWF Superstars at the raceway and in the pit crews. Jim Guthrie, Jeff Davis and their respective WWF cars will make appearances at WWF live events. The WWF will also promote the car in its USA Network telecasts, most notably "WWF Raw" (8:00pm Mondays on USA Network), in its two successful publications, WWF The Magazine and WWF Raw and on the web at WWF.COM.
