Assignments

The exercise numbers refer to the class notes. Late homework will not be accepted---do your best within the allotted time, which is a week unless specially noted. Assignments are always due at the beginning of class of the due date.

Note that exercises are not rated according to difficulty, and some of them may be quite hard. Since emphasis in this course is on techniques for structured and elegant presentation of languages and proofs, correctness is paramount. Generous partial credit will be given for incomplete solutions where a problem in a proof attempt or gap in an argument is clearly identified and discussed. Partial credit for incorrect proofs will be much less generous.
